Nplate (Romiplostim) Neutralizing Antibody, Mouse Monoclonal (Clone 2A3-B6) [MA202N-100 or MA202N-025]

Nplate (Romiplostim) is a thrombopoietin receptor (TPO-R) agonist marketed by Amgen for the treatment of thrombocytopenia. It has been approved for the treatment of both adult and pediatric patients with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a condition that occurs when the blood platelet count is too low. Nplate (Romiplostim) is a recombinant human IgG Fc fusion protein produced in E. coli.

Nplate (Romiplostim) Neutralizing Antibody Determination: Nplate neutralizing antibody assay for the two mAbs was carried out with Ba/F3 (c-Mpl) cell bioassay method in which Ba/F3 (c-Mpl) cells were grown in the presence of Nplate with or without the mAbs. EC50 (see data in specifications tab below) was determined at the concentration where a mAb caused 50% inhibition of the cell proliferation.
