Nplate(Romiplostim) & TPO
Nplate (Romiplostim) is a thrombopoietin receptor (TPO-R) agonist marketed by Amgen* for the treatment of thrombocytopenia. It has been approved for the treatment of both adult and pediatric patients with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a condition that occurs when the blood platelet count is too low. Nplate (Romiplostim) is a recombinant human IgG Fc fusion protein produced in E. coli.
GenHunter has 3 neutralizing monoclonal antibodies against Nplate (Romiplostim) [Clone 5D5-G2, Clone 2A3-B6, & 5E7-F8], 2 neutralizing antibodies against Thrombopoietin (TPO), a TPO fusion protein, & Ba/F3 (c-Mpl) cells (see below). The Nplate NAbs have specificity against TPO-R Mimetic Peptide (Nplate) and can be used by CRO or biotech companies for GCP testing of clinical samples in biosimilar development. Nplate is a fusion protein analog of thrombopoietin (TPO), a hormone that regulates platelet production.
