This vector is designed to express any soluble receptor or secreted ligand as a human IgG1 Fc fusion protein in mammalian cells. The vector contains a murine dhfr gene expression cassette which confers HT (hypoxanthine and thymidine) auxotroph when expressed in CHO host cell with dhfr null mutation. This allows gene amplification under stepwise MTX selection to increase the level of the recombinant Fc fusion protein to be expressed.
